When we set out to create our cutlery, we wanted something that did not only look stunning but which was also comfortable and ergonomic to use. In our opinion, there is no sense in aesthetic design at the cost of functionality. With the ONYX™ cutlery, we have achieved a unison combination of a unique, slender, and modern design that also offers a new level of comfort in dining.

The main item – the knife – features an inversed handle which rests perfectly in the palm of your hand. The long handle and rivet allow for a perfect index-finger position to control the blade.

The fork is made to complement the knife or to be used alone. The curved handle ensures easy handling whether the fork is used with your dominant or non-dominant hand.

The spoon is also designed to be used, both as a dominant hand tool for soups or similar and as a non-dominant hand tool for traditional pasta servings. While the design is slender and modern, the unique design of the spoon-head is constructed to hold the same amount of liquid as any other spoon would.

Finally, our perhaps absolute favorite thing about our cutlery is the finish. When we created our cutlery, we could simply not resist the temptation to use our unique ONYX™ titanium plating, which was originally created for our chef’s knives. Not only does it provide a stunning visual result – but it also helps to protect the cutlery and adds an outer layer with extra durability.

At ONYX Cookware we pride ourselves of making some of the most innovative products that you will ever have in your kitchen. But we are not just about the products themselves. We strive to provide absolutely superior products, at a greater value for your money, than anywhere else. That is why we have chosen to opt out of the regular distribution chain, with which you are probably very familiar.

Normally, a cookware manufacturer will have to sell its products to a distributor. The distributor then sells to a physical retail or online store, who then finally sells the product to you – the consumer. So when you buy the product, it will already have been bought and sold several times before, adding more and more profit margin with each step. A profit margin that you as the consumer will need to pay for in the end.

We want to change this, and therefore you will not be able to find our products in any stores. You can only buy our products right here, on our very own official website. When you buy one of our products, you are purchasing it directly from us. There are no additional cost added to fuel the distribution and retail supply chain.
